Shuangwei Biotechnology High-vacuum Wound Drainage System facilitates standardized postoperative wound drainage
26 Jun,2026
Clinical wound management has long been a significant challenge for healthcare professionals.
Complex, hard-to-heal wounds not only prolong patients' hospital stays and increase their financial burden but also place higher demands on nursing care.
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) As a globally recognized advanced wound management solution, it has become a cornerstone of clinical care for both acute and chronic wounds.

I. Composition of precision components and clear, well-defined functional design
(Product Registration Certificate No.: Single-use high-negative-pressure drainage set: Su Medical Device Approval No. 20192140623 )
The complete product suite comprises multiple components that work in concert, with each module performing a well-defined function, collectively ensuring the stable operation of the drainage process.
Vacuum indicator: It can provide real-time feedback on the negative pressure inside the bottle, enabling healthcare professionals to visually monitor the maintenance of negative pressure.

Multi-functional connecting pipe: It is compatible with drainage tubes of various specifications, meeting the tubing‑connection requirements of multiple surgical procedures.

Sliding clip: Pressing the clamp allows the pipeline to be opened or closed, offering simple operation and enabling flexible control of the drainage status.

PU drainage tube: Made from a highly flexible, smooth PU material, it is easy to insert and remove; available in four sizes to suit various clinical settings.

Puncture needle: It features a conical needle design for easy tissue puncture and is available in four sizes to match corresponding drainage tube models.

II. Multiple Design Advantages, Tailored to Clinical Drainage Needs
The product is designed around real-world clinical drainage scenarios, providing support across multiple dimensions, including drainage efficiency, user experience, and wound healing.
Multi-dimensional traffic generation design: Helps ensure thorough drainage of wound exudate, guaranteeing comprehensive coverage of the drainage system.
Reduce the risk of swelling: It helps reduce the formation of postoperative hematomas and seromas, thereby alleviating local discomfort in patients.
Assists in shortening the exudation cycle: It can help shorten the exudation phase of wound healing and assist clinicians in the rational management of antibiotic use.
Reduce the clinical workload: It helps reduce the frequency of dressing changes and decreases the amount of repetitive tasks for healthcare personnel.
Reduce infection-related risks: It can help mitigate postoperative tissue reactions, creating a more stable healing environment for the wound.
Supports wound healing: Sustained, stable negative pressure can secure the wound edges and create favorable conditions for tissue regeneration.
Pipeline flow is smooth and controllable: Pipeline design ensures a smooth drainage pathway, and the overall procedural workflow is standardized and controllable.
III. Standardized Operating Procedures for Convenient Clinical Use
The product’s operating procedures are clear, enabling healthcare professionals to complete the process swiftly and in accordance with established protocols.
Unboxing and Verification: After opening the package, confirm that the packaging is undamaged and that the vacuum indicator is in the compressed state.
Percutaneous catheterization: The drainage tube is implanted into the target drainage site using a puncture needle.
Pipe opening pretreatment: Cut the drainage tube at a 45° angle near the puncture needle to facilitate connection to the multifunctional connector.
Connector adaptation: Trim the multifunctional connector according to the drainage tube model, then connect and securely fasten the drainage tube.
System Connection: Connect the tubing to the reservoir bottle using a Luer connector to ensure system integrity.
Initiate traffic generation: Open the fluid reservoir and the sliding clamp on the connecting tube in sequence, and drainage will commence.
Full-liquid replacement: When the reservoir is full or the vacuum indicator is fully released, sequentially close the sliding clamp, disconnect at the Luer connector, and after replacing the reservoir with a new one, drainage can be resumed.
Termination of drainage: When drainage is not required, close the sliding clamp, disconnect the connections, and remove the relevant components one by one.

IV. Key Clinical Nursing Points to Ensure Safe and Effective Drainage
Standardized daily care is essential to ensuring the effectiveness of drainage; in clinical practice, particular attention should be paid to the following aspects:
Continuously monitor the drainage volume for 24 hours; if, 2–3 days postoperatively, the drainage volume is less than 20 mL, the timing of tube removal may be assessed in conjunction with the patient’s clinical condition.
When the blue vacuum indicator is fully extended, it indicates that the negative pressure inside the bottle has been exhausted; the reservoir bottle should be replaced promptly.
During drainage, enhance catheter care, maintain the integrity of the drainage system, and regularly inspect the collection chamber for damage or cracks.
If a blood‑fibrin clot obstructs the lumen, patency of the drainage tube can be restored by applying standardized manual compression.
Provide thorough health education to patients and their families, reminding them to avoid kinking the drainage tube when lying on their side or turning over, to securely fasten the collection container before getting out of bed, and to prevent traction on the drainage tube during activity.

V. Comprehensive coverage across multiple specifications, compatible with diverse departmental application scenarios.
The product offers a wide range of models and specifications, with collection bottle volumes spanning 200 mL, 400 mL, 600 mL, and 1,000 mL. Paired with drainage tubes of various sizes and connector tubing lengths, it provides broad compatibility. Orthopedics, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Burn Unit It meets the postoperative drainage needs of multiple departments, accommodating diverse surgical procedures and varying drainage volumes across clinical settings.
