Portable Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Device successfully carried out treatment of non-healing plastic wounds
30 Oct,2024
A female patient underwent 4 plastic surgeries in a hospital due to wound problems. During this period, the wound did not heal for 4 months. The size of the cavity was 10*11cm, and a large amount of yellow-green liquid leaked out with an odor. The patient was suffering from injuries and was recommended by a local wound therapist to go to the wound care center of a certain hospital for treatment.
The wound healed after three negative pressure treatments, and the healing time was 1.5 months. (Due to delays in changing dressings at home during the Spring Festival, patients should speed up the process by at least 15 days).
Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) technology promotes wound healing by applying low negative pressure, including stimulating cells to secrete growth factors, draining exudate, removing necrotic tissue and bacteria, and reducing edema. Clinical studies over the past two decades have proven that NPWT has good healing effects on various acute and chronic wounds.
Product Features:
- Easy to use and portable
Patients do not need to rely on the hospital's central negative pressure equipment. They can be carried around to expand the range of activities and improve the quality of life. After clinical trials, this product is particularly suitable for home use by patients with limited transportation.
- Multiple working modes
Different wounds have different requirements for the selection of pressure modes during clinical treatment. We have set up different working modes for this feature for clinical selection, which is beneficial to wound healing.
- Comprehensive alarm functions
In order to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the equipment during use, R&D engineers started from actual usage scenarios and repeatedly simulated possible abnormal situations, and designed a safer voice alarm system with four voice alarm functions. It is convenient for users to use safely in various clinical situations.
- Excellent performance
Built-in 2000mah lithium battery, low power consumption, can run for about 10-12 hours when fully charged, the maximum negative pressure can reach 300mmHg, and the maximum liquid storage capacity is 80ml, which can deal with various acute wounds, chronic difficult-to-heal wounds and drainage of wounds with a large amount of exudate after surgery.
