Introduction and Preparation Process of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

1. What is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), also known as concentrated platelet plasma, is a platelet concentrate extracted from autologous whole blood through centrifugation. The alpha granules in platelets within PRP release a large amount of growth factors after platelet activation. It has outstanding clinical efficacy in the field of wound treatment, while avoiding the risk of allogeneic rejection. By relying on the body's own physiological regulation and repair mechanisms, it accelerates the tissue recovery process, relieves pain and controls inflammation, and serves as a core technology in biotherapy. Due to its obvious efficacy, safety, long-lasting effect, sufficient source and wide therapeutic range, it is widely used in multiple fields of regenerative medicine.

2. Therapeutic Advantages of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
① Fundamental solution: PRP therapy uses growth factors from the patient's own blood to repair and regenerate damaged tissues, making it a treatment that addresses the root cause of the problem.
② Short procedure time: The PRP procedure can be completed in just 10-20 minutes, and patients can resume their daily lives immediately after the treatment.
③ Short recovery time: Patients can get back to their daily routines right after the procedure. Under normal circumstances, mild redness and swelling will gradually subside 2-3 hours after the treatment, and all traces of the procedure will completely disappear in 2-3 days.
④ Few adverse reactions: PRP therapy uses the patient's own blood, so there are few reported adverse reactions and side effects.
⑤ Wide range of applications: PRP can be used alone or combined with various existing procedures to enhance treatment effects, which in turn increases patient satisfaction after the treatment.
⑥ Proven efficacy: The large amount of growth factors contained in PRP can accelerate the natural recovery ability of aging tissues. Its repair capacity enables the treatment of injuries to cartilage, ligaments and tendons.
⑦ Convenience: Depending on the patient's condition, 3-5 injections are recommended, with an interval of 2-3 weeks between each injection. Therefore, it is also suitable for patients who cannot visit the hospital frequently for treatment.

Shuangwei Biotechnology PRP Automatic Preparation System
The Shuangwei Biotechnology PRP Automatic Preparation System (15 Specifications) consists of a disposable platelet-rich plasma (PRP) preparation kit and a medical centrifuge.
Product Features:
Fully automatic: The preparation and extraction process is fully automatic.
Fully closed and pollution-free: The separation and extraction process is fully closed without pollution.
Easy to operate: The required concentration can be obtained with only one centrifugation, and the entire preparation process takes only 15 minutes.
Accurate concentration: Precise adjustment of 2-8 times concentration can be achieved through mode selection.

Preparation Process (PRP15 Specification)
1.Turn on thecentrifuge. After the automatic reset is completed, open the upper cover, check the inner cavity to ensure no foreign objects, and confirm that the "START" prompt is displayed on the current device operation screen.
2.Close the upper cover of the centrifuge. Note: When "OPEN" is displayed in orange on the screen, it indicates that the upper cover is closed.
3.Verify the model and specification of the consumables, and check the integrity of the packaging. Note: Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
4.Open the packaging and take out the syringe, preparation device, etc. Note: The base of the PRP preparation device must be removed before use.

5.Use a syringe to draw the anticoagulant, with a volume of 1.5ml. Note: The required anticoagulant is ACD-A.
6.Collect venous blood at a volume ratio of 9:1 (blood to anticoagulant), and draw up to 15ml with the syringe.

7.Inject the blood into the preparation device (at a 45° angle) through the upper injection port. Take another preparation device and syringe, inject an appropriate amount of normal saline (or equivalent counterweight) for weight balancing. Note: It is necessary to control the volume of whole blood injected; inject the blood into the preparation device as slowly as possible.

8.Perform weight balancing. Note: The balance weight error must be within ±1g.
9.Open the centrifuge upper cover, place the preparation device containing blood into the blue sleeve, and put the counterweight into another sleeve.

10.Take out the suction assembly and install it in the designated position of the centrifuge. Notes: Before installation, be sure to check whether the catheter and syringe connector are tightened; pull the syringe manually to confirm no air leakage, and ensure the device has completed the reset operation; when installing, reserve a small length of catheter (not too long) in the cavity (within the blue circle); confirm that the syringe is correctly placed in the corresponding slot.

11.Close the upper cover, select the mode and enter the centrifugation parameters; click "START" to start the centrifuge. Note: Centrifugation parameters cannot be set in the standard mode, while they can be set in the custom mode.

12.After the centrifuge finishes working, the screen will display "END" and emit a "beep" prompt. Click "END" and then open the upper cover to take out the syringe containing PRP. Note: Remember not to click "RESET" after clicking "END".

13.Take out other consumables in the cavity, close the upper cover, and click "RESET" to reset the centrifuge. When "START" is displayed on the centrifuge operation interface, the reset is completed. The entire operation ends; if you need to continue operation, return to Step 1.
