Portable and Smart——Wound Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Kit
22 Oct,2025

Definition of NPWT Technology:
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is an advanced medical technique that promotes wound healing through negative pressure suction.
Advantages of NPWT Technology:
Removes: Bacterial culture medium and toxic decomposition products
Stimulates: Granulation tissue growth and blood circulation
Seals: Prevents external bacterial entry
Safety: Non-toxic, non-irritating to tissues, non-immunogenic, non-sensitizing to skin
Reduces frequency of traditional dressing changes and antibiotic usage; alleviates financial burden on patients
NPWT Application Departments:
Trauma & Orthopedics: Various soft tissue injuries, avulsion wounds, extensive soft tissue crush/contusion injuries;
Burns: Fresh or chronic burn/scald wounds, skin graft surgery sites;
General Surgery & Plastic Surgery: Surgical suture sites, mechanical/laceration injuries;
Other: Diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, and other complex wounds.
Material Requirements for NPWT Implementation:
Negative Pressure Source: Portable negative pressure drainage device (including collection container for suction fluid)
Foam Dressing: Polyurethane closed-system negative pressure wound therapy kit (foam dressing, drainage tubing, connectors, semi-permeable membrane, suction cup, etc.)
Treatment Method:
Seal open wounds using a semi-permeable membrane. Apply negative pressure suction through drainage tubing and dressings to the debrided wound surface.
Contraindications for NPWT Technology
1. Acute traumatic wound
2. Active bleeding wound
3. Gas gangrene, broken wound with exudate
Precautions
1. Rational application at an early stage
2. Thorough debridement without dead space, and pay attention to blood supply
3. Combine with anti-infection treatment
4. Normal value of negative pressure source: -50mmHg to -300mmHg
5. Negative pressure maintenance time: 5-7 days or extended by replacement
6. NPWT technology is a transitional measure
7. Contraindicated for patients with contraindications
Polyurethane Closed-Wound Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Kit
• Loose, soft, and elastic pores ensure uniform negative pressure distribution;
• Hydrophobic material inhibits adhesion of hydrophilic bacteria and proteins;
• Can be freely trimmed to fit diverse wounds locations and shapes;
• Compresses to less than half its volume under negative pressure, preventing drainage tube blockage and ensuring uninterrupted drainage;
• Chemically stable, resistant to hardening, and exhibits excellent biocompatibility.

Portable Negative Pressure Drainage Device
• Convenient and portable: Suitable for home use by patients with mild symptoms;
• Multiple operating modes: Clinical options to promote wound healing;
• Comprehensive alarm functions: Ensures safety and efficacy during use.
